The Blooming Desk is a multi-disciplinary platform offering:

  • Professional Coaching: Individual or group sessions focused on professional or personal development.

  • Workshops: Creative and educational events hosted in-person or digitally.

  • The Shop: A curated online marketplace specialising in antiques and vintage finds.

 
3. Shop Terms (Antiques & Vintage Finds)

  • Unique Nature of Goods: You acknowledge that antique and vintage items are previously owned and typically show signs of age and wear. We make every effort to describe and photograph items accurately; however, minor imperfections are inherent to vintage goods and do not constitute “damage.”

  • Pricing and Currency: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Availability: Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of many items, availability cannot be guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will issue a full refund immediately.

 
4. Coaching and Workshops

  • Registration: Your spot in a workshop or coaching session is only secured once full payment has been received.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your session, you’re eligible for a full refund. Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations within 24 hours and may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • No Guarantees & Disclaimer: Coaching and workshops are for educational and transformational purposes. The Blooming Desk does not guarantee specific results or outcomes following these sessions. Please note that Lucinda Scholtz is not a clinical psychologist, therapist, or medical practitioner. Coaching is not intended as a substitute for medical, psychological, or mental health treatment. If you require such support, we encourage you to seek assistance from a qualified healthcare professional.

 
5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including workshop materials, coaching frameworks, logos, photographs of shop items and text—is the intellectual property of The Blooming Desk. You may not use, reproduce or distribute our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

 
6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the site or interfere with the proper working of the website.

 
7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, The Blooming Desk shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the website, participation in workshops or the purchase of vintage items. All items and services are provided on an “as-is” basis.
